Of course to satisfy the need of some Brown Trout anglers we also frequently stock with larger Brown Trout up to 2.5lbs in weight.We have developed our stocking and habitat management policy with advice from renowned natural fishery and habitat scientists.

Loch Venachar is situated in the heart of the beautiful Trossachs region of central Scotland and has become the jewel in the crown for Scottish brown trout fishing. The region is hosting the world fly fishing championships in June 2009 and we know that Venachar will ideally represent Scottish fishing to the international competitors.
